To receive any apologies for absence.

All the members of the Sub-Committee who were expected to be present were present.

To approve as a correct record the Minutes of the last meeting.

The minutes of the meeting held on 21^st February 2024 were approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

To determine whether there are any additional items of business which, by reason of special circumstances, the Chair decides should be considered at the meeting as a matter of urgency.

There were no additional items of business.

To receive any declarations of interest from Members relating to any item on the agenda in accordance with the provision of the Code of Conduct and/or indicate if S106 of the Local Government Finance Act 1992 applies to them.

There were no declarations of interest.

No questions or statements had been received from members of the public or elected members.

To consider the exclusion of the Public from the meeting before discussion takes place on the following items of business on the grounds that in view of the nature of the business to be transacted, if the public were present there would be a disclosure to them of exempt information within the meaning of Part VA of the Local Government Act 1972.

RESOLVED, THAT:

The public be excluded from the meeting before discussion took place on the following item of business on the grounds that in view of the nature of the business to be transacted, if the public were present, there would be a disclosure to them of exempt information within the meaning of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.

The Licensing Officer reported on a review of a Private Hire Driver’s licence held by TR in order to determine if TR was a fit and proper person to hold such a licence.

The Sub-Committee determined that TR was not a fit and proper person to hold such a licence at this time.

RESOLVED, THAT:

The Private Hire Driver’s Licence of TR be suspended for four weeks.
