To approve as a correct record the Minutes of the last meeting, held on 20^th September 2023.

The minutes of the meeting held on 20^th September 2023 were agreed as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

To determine whether there are any additional items of business which, by reason of special circumstances, the Chair decides should be considered at the meeting as a matter of urgency.

There were no additional items of business.

To receive any declarations of interest from Members relating to any item on the agenda in accordance with the provision of the Code of Conduct and/or indicate if S106 of the Local Government Finance Act 1992 applies to them.

There were no declarations of interest.

To consider the exclusion of the Public from the meeting before discussion takes place on the following items of business on the grounds that in view of the nature of the business to be transacted, if the public were present there would be a disclosure to them of exempt information within the meaning of Part VA of the Local Government Act 1972.

RESOLVED, THAT:

The public be excluded from the meeting before discussion took place on the following items of business on the grounds that in view of the nature of the business to be transacted, if the public were present, there would be a disclosure to them of exempt information within the meaning of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.

The Licensing Officer reported on a review of a Private Hire Driver’s licence held by WH in order to determine if WH was a fit and proper person to hold such a licence.

RESOLVED: That the Private Hire Driver licence of WH be suspended for 12 weeks.

The Sub-Committee considered a request from RB’s legal representative for an adjournment in order to allow time for information that was relevant to the case to be received and considered.

RESOLVED: That the meeting be adjourned until 10:30 on 24^th April 2024.
