Councillor Elizabeth Monk was appointed Chair of the meeting.

To receive any apologies for absence.

Apologies were received from Councillors Ida Carmichael and Anne Kelly.

To approve as a correct record the Minutes of the last meeting.

The Minutes of the meeting held on 13^th February 2018 were agreed as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

To determine whether the holder of a Private Hire Driver’s Licence is a fit and proper person to hold such a licence.

The Licensing Officer reported that KH the holder of a private hire driver’s licence was unable to attend the meeting and asked the Committee how it wished to proceed

RESOLVED

In the absence of KH the Committee agreed to defer the matter to a later date.

To determine whether the holder of a Private Hire Driver’s Licence is a fit and proper person to hold such a licence.

The Licensing Officer reported on the conduct of IA the holder of a private hire driver’s licence.

IA was present at the meeting.

RESOLVED

That having regard to the conduct recorder against IA the licence be suspended for two months.
