It will be moved by Cllr Anne Kelly and seconded by Cllr Afrasiab Anwar that:

‘the Mayor and the Councillors of the Borough of Burnley here assembled, pursuant to Section 259 (5) of the Local Government Act 1972 resolve that Mark Vallance Crabtree is admitted as an Honorary Freeman of the Borough of Burnley in recognition of his contribution and commitment to the people and prosperity of the Borough, and as founding member and Chair of the visionary and successful Burnley Bondholders; and as an expression of the esteem in which he is held by the citizens of Burnley we do confer on him the Freedom of the Borough, and that his name shall be enrolled on the Honorary Freeman's roll, and on a certificate conferring upon him the title of Honorary Freeman of Burnley.

On being put to the vote, the motion was approved and it was RESOLVED unanimously.
