Councillor Ann Royle was appointed Chair of the meeting.

To receive any apologies for absence.

Apologies were received from Councillor Jean Cunningham.

To approve as a correct record the Minutes of the last meeting.

The minutes of the meeting held on 12^th March 2018 were approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

To determine whether the holder of a Private Hire Driver’s Licence is a fit and proper person to hold such a licence.

The Licensing Officer reported on the conduct of KM the holder of a private hire driver’s licence.

The matter had been deferred from the 12^th March 2018 at the driver’s request.

KM was not present at the meeting and as he had not made any further  request to have the hearing deferred the Committee decided to determine the matter in his absence.

RESOLVED

That having regard to the conduct recorded against KM the licence be revoked.
