Councillor Anne Kelly be appointed Chair of the meeting.

To receive any apologies for absence.

Apologies were received from Councillors Frank Cant and Arif Khan.

To approve as a correct record the Minutes of the last meeting.

The Minutes of the meeting held on 18^th October 2018 were approve as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

To determine whether the holder of a Private Hire Driver’s Licence is a fit and proper person to hold such a licence. 

The Licensing Officer report on conduct of AK the holder of a private hire driver’s licence.

AK was present at the meeting.

RESOLVED

That having regard to the conduct recorded against AK, the current holder of a private hire driver’s licence, the licence be revoked with immediate effect on the grounds set out in Section 61 (1) (b)of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976.

To determine whether an applicant for a Private Hire Driver’s Licence is a fit and proper person to hold such a licence.

The Licensing Officer reported on an application by DDK for a private hire driver’s licence.

DDK was present at the meeting.

RESOLVED

That the application for a private hire driver’s licence be granted.

To determine whether the holder of a Private Hire Driver’s Licence is a fit and proper person to hold such a licence.

The Licensing Officer reported on the conduct of MK the holder of a private hire driver’s licence.

MK was present at the meeting and was accompanied by MB.

RESOLVED

That having regard to the conduct recoded against MK the current holder of a private hire driver’s licence, no further action be taken but he be reminded of the need to comply with the terms and conditions of the licence.
