That Councillor Ann Royle be appointed Chair of the meeting

Apologies were received from Councillors Bill Brindle and Anne Kelly.

The Minutes of the last meeting held on 27^th January 2017 were confirmed as a true record and signed by the Chair.

That the Public be excluded for the meeting before discussion takes place on the following item(s) of business on the grounds that in view of the nature of the business to be transacted, if the public were present there would be a disclosure to them of exempt information within the meaning of Part VA of the Local Government Act 1972.

Minute 5 – Information likely to reveal the identity of an individual

The Licensing Officer reported on an application to renew Private Hire Vehicle Licence (PV0002) which had exceeded the 8 year age limit.

KH was present at the meeting.

Members of the Committee inspected the vehicle and found it to be in exceptional condition which justified departing from the Council’s age limit policy.

RESOLVED  

That the application to renew private hire vehicle licence (PV0002) be granted.
