That Councillor Anne Kelly be appointed Chair of the meeting.

To receive any apologies for absence.

Apologies were received from Councillor Ann Royle.

To approve as a correct record the Minutes of the last meeting.

The Minutes of the last meeting held on 28^th March 2018 were approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

To determine whether the holder of a Private Hire Driver’s Licence is a fit and proper person to hold such a licence.

The Licensing Officer reported on the conduct of AN the holder of a private hire driver’s licence.

AN was present at the meeting and was represented by RB.

RESOLVED

That having regard to the conduct recorded against AN the licence be suspended until 19^th November 2018.

To determine whether applicant is a fit and proper person to have a private hire driver’s licence renewed.

The Licensing Officer reported on a private hire driver’s licence renewal application by MI.

MI was present at the meeting and was accompanied by MA.

RESOLVED

That the application for renewal of the private hire vehicle licence number  PD0245 be granted .

To determine whether an applicant for a Private Hire Driver’s Licence is a fit and proper person to hold such a licence.

The Licensing Officer reported on an application by DGW for a private hire driver’s licence.

DGW was present at the meeting and was accompanied by MW.

RESOLVED

That the application for a private hire driver’s licence be refused.
